Hi
Just a couple of verses that may be relevant

Deu 1:39  Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
When the Israelites fled Egypt, they protested that their children (who were too young to understand good or evil)would become prey and die. God is now saying that those children would be the ones to enter and possess the land instead of their protesting parents.
Quote
Mat 19:14  But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
     [/color]
Jesus made it clear many times that children have a better perception of heaven than adults.
Quote
In the first verse we see that children have no knowledge of good or evil so why would they need to be baptised and in the second verse Jesus welcomes them as they are into heaven.
There's absolutely no connection between the two verses Dave.
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

what nonsense - I do not say what you say I say - imho an aborted baby just like any other non Christian must be born again from above and be baptized and saved - wincam
And here's what you said earlier.-
Quote
but heaven remains closed until baptism by water and spirit imho - wincam

Therefore I was correct in my earlier post.

This is what Jesus says.-
Matt16v3Truly I tell you, He said, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
All Jesus requires is that we adults repent and become like little children, yet you absurdly demand that little change children become like adults.

What links verses about entering cannan with faith in Jesus?

Because that is what you've put together. There is nothing that links them.

Hi John
Thank you for your post what links these two verses is that God is telling us that children who have no knowledge of good or evil will enter into his paradise for Israel it was Canaan a land flowing with milk and honey.
Our Paradise will be the new earth that God will create in the end times.
As I have said before a new creation began with Christ and what happens to Israel will happen to Christ and his Church the OT is a mirror image of this.

Love and Peace

Dave,
"is that God is telling us that children who have no knowledge of good or evil will enter into his paradise for Israel it was Canaan a land flowing with milk and honey."

Sorry Dave there is nothing in those verses that says that. It is talking about cannan and not heaven.

Yes Jesus welcomed children, uised them as illistrations of trusting faith and warned about misleading them.
But nowhere does he say that they get a free pass into heaven.

We literally do not know how God will deal with  children who have died. All we can do is trust that the God of the whole world will do that which is right.
