Are "going to heaven" and "being born again" mutually exclusive?
"Christ died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again." (II Corinthians 5:15)

Thank you Deborah, that's exactly what I thought.
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

Then you have answered your own question. Flesh and blood cannot enter heaven.

The folly is in believing that being born again requires the right theology. Yet Jesus made it clear that little children understood spiritual stuff (not theology) much better than adults.

Matt16v3?Truly I tell you,? He said, ?unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

The littlest of little children are to be found still inside their mother's womb, and as demonstrated by John the Baptist, possess sufficient spiritual wisdom to recognise the presence of God and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Haha. You have just reversed the words of Jesus.

This is what Jesus says.-
Matt16v3?Truly I tell you,? He said, ?unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

This is what wincam says.-
Unless a child changes and becomes like an adult (ie. gets baptised, with all attendant theology), he will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
