Gal4:3 So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. 4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ?Abba, Father.? 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God?s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

As it say God choise the time.

Thanks think that helps. Is it something like there were people and are people who worship God but dont know the grace and closeness through Sonship.
That those without excuse are those who deliberately reject God. Others worship God  but dont know the gospel to know grace and Sonship.

Revelation 14:10 they will be tortured in the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb.
The Holy Angels are not omnipresent and how is that possible for all eternity, if they do other things like attend the Lambs wedding.
Ezekiel 18:32 the Lord has no pleasure in the death of the wicked and his paradise is ruined.
It will probably be defended by saying there is a chasm where they see each other. The other defended by something that is beyond any understanding,
how someone can be in paradise and not be distressed by seeing others permanently tortured.
That he will wipe away the tears of his loved ones and death will be no more there. Only a place cut off from God but also in his presence, where death is existing for all eternity.

Hi John
Thank you for your post you said.
Quote
Dave,
"Rom 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! "

Is talking about now, it is not talking about going into the past.

Rom 1:20 is talking about how all people in the past, present and future have the evidence that there is a God right in front of them.

"Rom 10:14 This scripture was written some 2000 years ago and was relevent for all generations since it can also pertain to Israel they were told about God and his coming messiah they and us only learn about God because someone told us about Him.

You can't come to a belief in Jesus Christ or God by just looking at nature you mite think I wonder who made all this but thats it the bible tells us that to be saved we must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and to do that someone has to tell us about him and if the person told dose not believe then you tell him to look at the world around him and consider who created it.

Rom 1:20 is telling us if you don't believe what I have told you about God then look at his creation and you will know that the God who created all this is the only God.

Hi Concerto
thank you for your post you said.

I googled these scriptures and someone said that Romans 1:20 is referring to those who dishonour God and practise deliberate sins worshipping false gods and creatures.
It may not be do to with redemption but then everyone dishonours God and are only redeemed by the grace of Jesus .

I disagree creation is used as a proof to those who have been preached to that there is a God and he has created everything we see so they have no excuse.

Love and Peace
Dave

The Lamb's wedding is a metaphor, not an event that occurs at a particular venue on a specific date. But in any case, "in the presence of the angels" need not require all the angels to be present all the time!

Personally I don't believe that people suffer eternally in Hell; it's a place of destruction. But the 'smoke' (the consequences) will be permanent: the removal of evil in every shape and form is essential if Paradise is not to be ruined again.

Hi @davetaff I take on your points of view as I do with everyones. What I write may not necessarily be right and I may have been misunderstood. I however seek the truth.
Hi @Deborah I am very pleased you responded. I feel that what you say seems very right and very realistic. Fitting as many scriptures that can be found on this topic. I am sure the bible tells ys that death will be conquered and that is not just meaning for the redeemed but in general. There is so much that suggests a final destruction. The smoke is an aftermath of the destruction surely and coukd be symbolic language.
Someone posted the soul to be eternal but the bible refers to us as mortal and that cannot be just the body, if the soul is more important. I think there was only one born with an eternal soul that is Jesus. People though can get immortal seed through the grace of Jesus. 1 Peter 1:23

Dave,
"You can't come to a belief in Jesus Christ or God by just looking at nature"

Yes there is not enough in nature to tyell anyone about Jesus., but as it says further on in Romans.
Those who live with the law are judged by the law while those without the law yet do what the law requires will be judged by their knowledge.
God is merciful, and if someone is seeking him he will find God.

The real problem that you will not face up to is the nature of sin.

Sin enslaves us and it makes us willing slaves so much so that we will not seek to leave it.

You are concerned for the fate of those who do not know Jesus. They are enslaved to sin and unless God interviens in their lives they will die in their sin.

As it says, 'All have sinned' elsewhere 'there is none who are rightous', no one deserves to be saved.
