Hi Indonesia,

?There were some childrens books I read in the past. That today maybe viewed as stereotypical but there was an innocence in them and a culture I would rather be in. Now some authors have rewritten them for children with sarcasm and and sexual insinuations. Thats just one example of godlessness .?

I too was an avid reader as a child, and a huge Enid Blyton fan.  I remember taking my book with me to school, and my teacher told me, to keep reading, but not to bring Enid Blyton to school because her books were banned.  I didn?t find out till years later, that it was due to racist and sexist content.  They?ve all been remastered with the naughty bits removed, which makes sense, given when it was written, and those are good reasons for editing, but i can?t for the life of me remember anything racist or sexist, i?m so tempted to try and find an original copy and read it now, i?d probably be outraged 😂

I?ve not heard of any getting spiced up, do you know the titles?  😂

I didn't like some of the demeaning comments within the books, regarding the work status of people and other races. Although it wasn't all the time.
That is something I didn't like. Apparantly they were written in the 1940s.
On the other hand standards were much much higher.
I agree with Francis regarding my observations. They are even trying to teach preschool children depravity .
Homosexual sex. Transgender reassignment whispering. Phallic symbols in festivals.Pride in London. Former carnival toys replaced with aeroplane phallic shapes for childrem. Men exposing their bits in public. I saw it in photos in different places on the internet. Maybe you can google it.
Theres No respect for sex within marriage. Influencing promisicuousity.
Children even younger than teenagers have commited suicide, due to transgender reassignment influences and whispering.
The books could be google under famous five paradies. One about recovering from a hangover.
@francis drake I saw one named "Famous five escape Brexit Island". I know you understand where this is coming from.

These books are for adults, not children. About the Famous Five when they grew up! I've read some of them and enjoyed them, especially the one about the strategy away day (I'm not saying that I'd necessarily like them all). They aren't intended to be taken seriously!

TaraH,
"when I think as a Christian, however, whenever i comment, especially on issues like abortion and euthanasia, "
Then one thinks and comments as a Christian.

Just because a believer in ritual human sacrifices, cuts the heart out of  tramp on a alter doesn't make that murder.
In the same way cutting a baby up in the womb, inducing a miscarriage or doing a partial birth abortion are all the same thing.  Murder.

Free will isn't there for us to pick and choice what we believe. Freewill is there for us to totally accept Jesus and everything he stands for or to totally reject him.

We either accept heaven or we accept hell.

We are either Christian in thought, word, deed etc or we are toying with sin.

I don?t understand what you mean, what exactly is your point, sorry confused?

But surely if you choose not to believe, then you can also choose to believe whatever you want?

Tara,
"But surely if you choose not to believe, then you can also choose to believe whatever you want? "

Try thay with the police, reject the highway code etc and drive any way you please. What would the end result be.

Why do you think rejecting God actually has any meaning other than hell.

Hi John
What do you mean by hell as I understand it hell means the grave we all sleep in the grave awaiting the resurrection either to eternal life of to judgement then comes the second death and when we are dead we are conscious of nothing.

Love and Peace
