Hi @Mike Amy ,

Science use the word theory, differently, it means tried and tested . Read about evolution, it?s only a facts.  I?ve sent you a mail, did you get it ok?

Thanks for all your replies, much appreciated.

I have to say i?m totally shocked, the theory of evolution is so certain, and the evidence irrefutable and so overwhelming...?..
You are so so very wrong Tara.

The evidence against evolution is massive and many many scientists refute it, including those who don't believe in God, but still reject evolution as scientifically unworkable.

Its called "Intelligent design".
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

Hi @francis drake ,

I?m not so wrong, in your opinion i?m wrong.  However having worked and studied biology/anthropology for over over 30 years, it?s only my professional opinion!

Hi
What are the odds of life starting spontaneously  here is next one calculation of many.

o what?s the probability of your existing? It?s the probability of 2 million people getting together ? about the population of San Diego ? each to play a game of dice with trillion-sided dice. They each roll the dice, and they all come up the exact same number say, 550,343,279,001.

Life can only come from life God is eternal all life comes from him.

Here I a site one of many that say evolution could not happen by chance.

All life is designed and the designer is the God of the bible.

Hi @davetaff ,

Thanks for that, but i have reviewed such objections on countless occasions,  we could be here forever picking out bits of data, but i?m convinced, it?s my opinion.

Hi Tara
Thank you for your reply I would like to ask you about something you said in a previous post.

Quote
I obviously believe Evolution, but agree with @Deborah, I think God, kicked the whole thing off, God was the Big Bang.

If as you say God kicked the whole thing of then it did not evolve it was the beginning of Gods plan which is still on going.
Or are you saying that God started life then left it to look after its self you seam to be straddling the fence either God created everything or everything created itself out of dead matter which is it.

Love and Peace

God didn't just create the world 'in the beginning'. He sustains it continually (Colossians 1:17;Hebrews 1:3).

Which means that all the physical, chemical and biological processes that we observe have some divine input, even though from our point of view they are predictable. Such as gravity, the orbits of the solar system, nuclear decay, chemical reactions...

Which means that evolution, if it does occur (and I am fairly convinced now that it does - the evidence is much stronger now than when I was at school 45 years ago) also has divine input...
"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life." (II Peter 1:3a)
