How Christians's should deal with anger
« on: June 26, 2018, 06:10:58 PM »
When I am so fed up that I want to shout and break stuff, I make sure that it is at home and has no effect no the outside world (includes the internet):
  • Talk to God about it - He is bigger than your anger
  • Make a loud noise by popping a balloon
  • Put some heavy Christian music on like Seventh Day Slumber

If you struggle outside of the house then learn about Stocaism and this Proverb:

Proverbs 16:32 English Standard Version (ESV) Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

Remember that three minutes patience with someone who is persecuting you, could save you eight hours in a police cell.

Why you little monkey, Ima gonna cut down your tree and eat all your bananas!! I gonna, I gonna get ya, yall got no tree to hide this time, you been playin tha wrong gamez!!!

Oops, where did that come from :)

Why are you angry? If it's because you've bitten your tongue, the computer isn't working, the wife has burnt dinner or because of some injustice in the world?

How we respond to anger does depend to the cause. The self inflicted anger atmishaps, mistakes or chance is dealt with by counting to 10 or 100 depending on how irritated one is.

The rightous anger at how people/institutions treat those who are powerless needs to be dealt with as ypu say by prayer and where possible by action.
