The Good News ?
« on: June 24, 2018, 10:24:18 AM »
I bring it to remembrance as 'glad tidings of great joy for born to us is a Saviour' but this has been turned into not so good news by many if not most accepting that the saviour of the world has failed, is failing and will fail - let us not listen to these devils who try to rob us of the good news of our salvation - see Rmns 5 and in particular 5:18 - twinc

Not often I agree with you, but the 'good news' is worth repeating.
John 3:16,God so loved the world that he sent his only Son, that those who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

We were like them too though:
Ephesians 2:3 New International Version (NIV)
"All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. "

I was probably worse than a lot of these people, you included.
These are people with feelings that are yet to come into our loving Father's arms.

Not having a go personaly but this is the gospel Bro.
Infact, remember how you were before you were a sinner saved by grace and now look. If you (or any Christian) cannot see a big difference then it just means that you are at a different stage in your walk with Jesus so do not worry.

Sometimes I say I am a saint and sometimes I say I am a wretched sinner saved by God's grace.

Main point - these devils will have bigger / sharper / more painful pitchforks if we do not remember the above.

I just realised that I do exactly what I said you were doing myself but without realising it. I am hard on myself as I do live next to a satan worshipper who torments me and in return I buy them chocolate. Love casts out fear.

I am rambling but that Ian Brown song FEAR - bit like Romans 8:28. Forget Everything And Remember, For Everything A Reason.

Wincam, he is bigging you up Bro, even if you think he is wrong.

It is worth repeating so here it is again:
John 3:16 God so loved the world that he sent his only Son, that those who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Or that you do not understand what Romans5 is all about.
Paul is discribing how God's love resulted in salvation, he is not saying that all are saved. The condition of repentance and believing faith still apply.

True but he will never listen if you try and put out a fire with fire.

here it is for all to see exactly as stated that many is not most would have us believe and accept that the Saviour of the world has failed, is failing and will fail and to even stating that Paul accepted this - do not allow yourself to be robbed of the good news of salvation- wincam
