Yes Bruv! LOL

I like reading between the lines in the Word - thinking about getting a Hebrew bible as I think a lot gets cyphined out (pun not intended lol) in other translations.

Always though: perfect love casts out fear and 1 Corinthians 13 - love is the greatest thing.
It is because God is love and love is God.

Actually just say that you are home alone and getting demonic attacks then prayer for someone in a really loving way, imagine helping them and ask Abba Father to take them in His arms and bless their socks off - fear gets cast away like water of a duck's back and you then feel pukka.

Oh another thing - if you have been near a witch or occultist then use you hand and imagine sprinkling the blood of Jesus on you, say "the blood of Jesus" when you do it.
To teach truth is Love Sharky. That is God's love for us. God so loved us he gave us Jesus , the truth. The life and the way.

That's what Jesus did, so yes. And John 14:6 all the way.

I am not saying this about you or anyone else on here but another point I want to make is the heart:

Ever seen those TV evangelists who make lots of money (good rich TV evangelists too) that try to sell you bits of clothe (spiritually / biblicaly works too) so that your family can touch them to be blessed - point is that these dudes speak a lots of scripture (a lot of truth) but the family that spent their last ?20 on piece of clothe now have to live on the street while he or she lives in a mansion eating chocolate with lobster for desert - that's how backwards they are lol. No naming names but I know it has or does exist.

Love is the difference - do we preach to get rich and satisfy ourselves or do we preach in love to enjoy helping someone and bless them and get a buzz out of it at the same time as we got God's love inside us. If you don't it doesn't mean your not a Christian either - you just got to ask for help from God: Just ask for help to know that you are loved by Him (massively loved by Him) and when you know that then it overflows to others.

I say it again, I am not having a go at anyone on here for this and I got to watch it too as I am not perfect by any means.

Bless ya!

Colin,
you've said:-You even say it yourself and know not what you are saying. You say we are saved by faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is the Love God gave us. He is the truth, the light and the life. He is the word and he is presented to us in a dead image and to bring the word to You people Spiritually is to show the resurrection of the word, The word is life and death but you take it literally so death is the image you receive. I show the word alive and in that you must have faith. That is the resurrection"
                                      and

"That is God's love for us. God so loved us he gave us Jesus , the truth. The life and the way."

The whole point of Christianity is that Jesus, the 2nd person of the Trinity, the Son of God, realy did die and that he realy did rise to life.

Without the death of Jesus there is no atonement, no forgiveness and no hope of a life to come.
This is all proved by Jesus's resurection, as paul says in Cor, if there is no resurection there is no Christianity.

So your idea that Christians are only concerned about the death of Jesus is false as your idea that you are showing anyone here something new or relevent.

Hi
Just a thought does It matter how the gospel is preached after all St Paul said.

.    Phi 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice

I take this to mean the most important thing is the gospel is preached.

Hi Davetaff,

It is strange you quoted that verse actually as it stuck out at me the other day when I was reading my bible.

I can see that e.g. the gospel going onto the airwaves. But if I am being honest I think we should always preach in love - I don't the think a non-Christian is going to listen otherwise. They give us a hard enough time when we do it in love anyway.

1 Corinthians 13 - no love in it then we are a clanging symbol.
Also when Jesus says that it is better to gouge our eye out after looking lustfully at someone rather than go to hell - obviously we don't do that to our eye;He makes the point about how bad hell is with strong words.

My interpretation of the verse you said is that after all the times Paul got beaten and messed up by people, he was massively positive in any situation. Another example of how positive he is, is when he is singing God's praises whilst he has chains on his body in a jail cell.

If I comfort eat when I am depressed, I have chocolate digestives instead of chocolate bars so I at least gets carbs lol. That's about as good as I get :)

Hi
Thank you for your reply what of course you are right about Love being the most important thing we should always offer the word of God with Love as God offers it to us and the world.
But when these preachers who do it for money quote from the bible it is not there words that go forth but God's and God is Love.
That's why in most of my posts I like to quote God's word you never know who will read it and what effect it will have.

Love and Peace
Dave

Maybe what you said Paul said was right then but I just see so much hate against Christian's e.g. I used to preach the gospel in love as a street preacher and some people listened but then I got punched in the face and bled.

It seems that as soon as I serve God I am persecuted.

Actually could you pray for me please - that God would show His grace to me and give me the opportunity to serve Him with a bit less stress.

Bless you Brother.

Ok. this. Raise him and he will draw them to you. Your grace is sufficient to keep you tell we all get there. Jesus was before the word, and the word made flesh. Take the flesh and raise it to an elevated understanding or spiritual understanding. Use the wisdom in the Psalms to do it or at the least, make sure the wisdom is from God and the scriptures or it is just carnal opinion. It takes a lot of guts to preach on the street to people that aren't interested. As you wisdom increases so will your understanding. Bible studies are for sharing and the best place to Let God do as he will with you and if your needed and able to feed his sheep, true food, you're in.
