I don't care about the details, once Jesus returns I will be with him for ever.
That is all that matters.

Hi John
Thank you for your reply and I dare say you may be right but don't you think it's a good idea to spread our knowledge to those who mite read our posts them seekers out there who read but never post.
Maybe what you or I say may help them.

Dave,
I can't think of anything more likly to send enquirers running, then reading about the minutia of the supposed events of Jesus's 2nd coming.

It is enough to know that he will come and that no one will miss his coming.

Hi
Thought I would try and revive this thread as I feel it has great relevance for our day and age and I think there many out there who may find it interesting if the study on revelations is anything to go by it seams there are quit a few who are interested.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Here we see the start of the millennial reign of Christ he comes as king of kings to judge and rule the world at his coming all those who belong to him will be raised up and rule with him for a thousand years all those who had been persecuted and those who had lost their lives for the word of God will receive their reward they will be lifted up.

Hi
Not a very good attempt at revival nobody wants to talk to me
So who is it who will sit on the thrones and judge will it be all the saints of the OT and the saints of the NT all those who have been chosen by our lord for there is two groups Disciples those who follow and Apostles those who are chosen is it all those who are chosen who will sit and judge.
is it a case of Christ and all the chosen are the father and mother and the rest of us are the children will we be judged who are the judges and who will be judged.

Hi
Why dose Christ need to reign for 1000 years if the creation only took 6 days don't make sense if God created all animal life including humans in 24 hours why on earth would it take him a 1000 years to judge them.

It would make more sense if one day is 1000 years long and this creation is about man in the image of God which is Christ Jesus our lord who is the end of creation and he is the express image of God the Father.

the Father hands everything over to his son and gives him a 1000 years to put everything right to root out all evil and at the end of the 1000 years to hand everything back to the father the perfect world with the perfect man ( mankind ) to take care of it as God intended from the beginning of creation.

Love and Peace
