There is nothing whatsoever "prophetic" about regurgitating someone else's sermon outline! That's exactly what the article says John. He changed from one style of clothes to another. Wow, salesmanship at its best.Nothing wrong with that, but it has nothing to do with the clothes he wears. Are you implying I don't think the bible is relevant today John? Despite our differences, I know you love the scriptures, and you should know the same about me.

I agree Francis, if all that is happening is just regurgitating someones sermon outline, but if one has studied it, prayed about it one can make that outline live and relevent to the congragation and if the spirit is using the preacher make it prophetic in that it challenges and changes lives.

As for clothes, you are splitting hairs, you could be sarcastic about there changing from cheap coffee to more expensive coffee.
He made a number of changes, how he dressed is only one, a minor change, more important where making the church more welcoming to visitors and the sermons more relevent and applicable to those who attended.
I'm sure there was also a lot of prayer, sadly this wasn't mentioned.

Francis you have let your bias against 'church' blind to to a practical attempt to encourage small struggling churches to start thinking ut of the box of, 'we've always done this!'
