Our Queen expresses a degree of Christian faith and is a regular church attender, yet her government is hostile to Christianity and it is hoped that the comonwealth will not follow the example of the IK and be tolerant of Christianity.

Prayer is needed.

And we joyfully sing "God save our gracious Queen"

Whether she is saved is another matter

We've done that. She's saved!
The next job is singing "God save our government! ".  Umm. Doesn't fit the song. " God save our crazy government? " No. We need a different word. More respectful. Anyone?

That's a really interesting reply....

How  is the Queen saved ?

I mean why would we pray and sing that she would be saved when she already is ?

Being "saved" has nothing to do with "heaven when you die". Scripture makes it clear that saved and salvation is about life on earth, being saved from Philistine famine and plagues. So to sing "God save our gracious queen" means just that, as exemplified in the following lines, "send her victorious"!

However from a spiritual point of view, a history of all that she has said over many years shows that the queen certainly knows the Lord.
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

2 Timothy 1:9   He has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

This scripture would suppose otherwise.... [as it refers to a life and our response to a temporal salvation]

It is heaven reaching earth [ Gods will even do this with satan...hence - satan is saved until certain time]

As God is no respector of persons... as in Romans 2:11

Or group -  Church... [I mean why should God save someone I do not][

God has a reason for delivering people and this is not just a temporal thing... [you know that youself by experience and if you do not then you are in trouble with your own salvatiion...

God can raise people from the dead [temporarily] and in the context of Matthew 27:52 : it means they are "saints and those " saved" many times...  [in life]

I am not sure why you are persistent in dissociating  God working in peoples lives with "our eternal life" as both are mixed...

Okay the two arguments...

You are saved because you are God's...

You are God's because you are saved...
