The word of God is written for us in the bible but there are two understandings of that word, And the understandings are set against each other for  each to believe as he or she will. There is life in the word but it is set against death and a man will believe them both to be life according to his own understanding. The visible is the flesh of the word and the hidden is the Spirit. People who chose to preach or minister unto others with their own opinion of the interpretation are ministering their own Spirit. Yet if one has the proper understanding given only by the word itself, he has been given the blessings of God and is able to provide the means for others to obtain the truth, the life and the Spirit of God.

This understanding that is first obtained from the visible written word is considered the flesh to a man of true understanding. When you start to overcome the flesh with truth, the truth becomes your teacher and you get set free from the bondage of sin. Jesus is that truth that sets us free and this is why he said if you have not known the father you have not known him. His father was the Spirit of God and the father and the son are one and the same, Spirit. When the word was made flesh and came to us as the son, it was not the flesh that was made flesh but the Spirit the was made flesh. When we see the new testament, is shows us what happened to Jesus and as it was with him is the same as it has been with the church and the church being his body it follows the same path with the same conclusion,it dies to the flesh when it reaches the cross and is given its new life after that. This is when the dead rise in Christ.

Why such a blanket untrue statement?

Most preachers preach what the bible teaches, they are not inventing a message only explaining and applying it.

If you belive that a preacher you have listened to is not proclaiming what the bible teaches. You have a duty to speak to him about it.

This is where we get into the good and the evil. God is Spirit and in no flesh. Jesus taught in parables and it is written that he only Spoke in parables. The new testament is Jesus and it is also written that his name is the word of God. The stories in the new testament tell us of him and it is not to say the parables are not true stories. The parables are written in the flesh and the meaning of them is Spiritual. The Flesh deceives us. We should be clothed with the word but yet the flesh steals our clothing.Flesh covering flesh leaves us naked before God. We believe we are worshiping the living God but not so if a man does not have the life and understanding of Spirit within him.The word is life and death and without the true Spirit the word is dead. The Spirit is the life. Jesus said he was the truth and the life. So, even worst is that old testament where Satan himself hides deceiving the world.Jesus was their from the beginning but again he was not the flesh made flesh but the Spirit made flesh. The word of God is not flesh. When your eyes are opened with truth, we are as the blind given sight by Jesus and then we see what is the good and the Evil of it all. Jesus is the teacher, the healer the life and one and the same with the father. If you have known the father you have known the son for they are one and the same.

Colin,
You are making statements based on your opinion about the bible, the Spirit and preachers.

How are those who read what you write to know whether you are merely giving your opinion or actually delivering a message inspired by the Spirit.

Think about it.

You have to know and understand more of the Spiritual teachings to know and understand where they come from. For this reason I always add a few spiritual teachings to all statements or treads and soon enough you or people who read them will. What I teach is not me but the spirit and as he has taught me and I see , I teach.

As you know Colin, what the Holy Spirit teaches is in line with what is already in the bible and the NT particularly.

So what biblical principals are you being taught?
