Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not accepting Jesus Christ.

Thank God for the Reformation.

Vicarius Christi, or Vicar of Christ, is one of the titles that the Popes have held since Constantine.
The title of Vicarius Christi is simply the Latin version of another Greek word, Antichristus or Antichrist!

Online Dictionary.
Vicarius
Definition- taking the place of another person or thing; acting or serving as a substitute.

Strong's Concordance
antichrist
Definition- either one who puts himself in the place of, or the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah.

As can be seen, the difference between the Greek antichristos and the Latin Vicarius Christi is negligible.
Both are imposters, standing as false heads of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. In doing so, they displace Christ from his rightful place.

Servants of the Roman antichrist are more likely to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, than those who for the last 500 years have protested against him!
Disturb us Lord, when we are too pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrived safely because we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord, to dare more boldly. To venture on wider seas. Where storms will show your mastery; Where, losing sight of land, we shall find the stars. We ask you to push back the horizons of our hopes; And to push into the future, in strength, courage, hope and love.                     (SIR FRANCIS DRAKE 1577)

anti Christs were in His own lifetime and so long before the existence of a POPE = anti Christs are those who choose to walk no more with Him[Jn 666]  and choose to remain human beasts rather than put on Christ[Jn 6:53] - wincam

Certainly the spirit of antichrist started working in the time of the apostles, but we were also warned that he would continue working in the future.

The Greek word "antichrist" means someone who stands in the place of Christ, ie. as the head of the body, the church. Nobody has done that better than all the popes since Constantine.
Given that the pope bears the title "Vicarius Christi", a Latin translation of the Greek "antichristus", its a complete waste of time defending him from his own title.
