What are your thought on a Christian using Acupuncture to get relief from severe back pain following a failed surgery?

I wouldn't go down that route myself. It is connected to yin and yang, life force etc. About balancing the life force. Duelism...

I see the way you word "acupuncture after a failed surgery"

As if it would be a last resort...

Should a Christian / born again rely on anything apart from God or the NHS ? where God might lead and use surgeons to bring healing ...

Some might  see using surgery as a last resort - I mean the NHS is not bilblical.... it was never invented or around in bibilcal times - so some may see this as non biblical [which it is] as it is not in the bible...

Yes Luke was a physician - as in Colossians 4:14

But this was nothing like the same thing - at that time in history - Jesus brought true and real healing..

Should Christians really depend on medics /doctors/hospitals/NHS/ or should they depend on Jesus...  whether you include needles or a hammer.. really does not matter.. I mean hitting myself with a hammer numbs pain as well - ATM I am using vapour rub to stop my legs hurting.... [should'nt I rely on God to take away the pain ?]

In a way we have created our own answer to replace God and in another - God is using advances to use people..

I introduce you to someone  who is no longer  around to due no no medical intention - in https://www.1faith.co.uk/?topic=2933.0

Who would never go to any form of medication -but only God - so I have given you two examples . coming from two
different places - in a way the NHS in the UK has overtaken God in healing

Acupuncture is just another healer on the long list... affecting nerves and pain..

I suppose in biblical times - people had to depend on God more ...

A person now - could die due to lack of their medication -whereas in Jesus time healing was more about faith...

People died due to lack of faith - whereas now we have everything to replace the healing of Christ from the NHS
to yoga and healings from other nations ...

So people died and now these people live - due to medical advances...

They live a bit longer and still die

Ezekiel 47:12 ESV
And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.?

1 Timothy 5:23 ESV
(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)

Isaiah 38:21 ESV
Now Isaiah had said, ?Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover.?

Matthew 9:12 ESV
But when he heard it, he said, ?Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Luke 10:34 ESV
He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

No, I am pointing out that even from early times God had made prevision for man to provide healing remedies for himself and I believe that still goes on today, nowhere in scripture is a physician regarded as wrong.
Healing comes in many forms either direct from God, as I was after 7 years of dark depression I was healed overnight, or via the medical doctors all are Gods gift to man.
